Mich. Voters to Decide on ‘Dr. Death,’ Embryonic Stem Cells Michigan (EP) — When Michigan voters head to the polls in November, the ballot will be anything but boring.
Convicted killer Jack Kevorkian has collected enough signatures to appear on the ballot as an independent for the 9th U.S. Congressional District, The Associated Press reported.
A measure to expand unethical embryonic stem-cell research in Michigan also appears headed to the ballot.

Guatemala receives food aid through NCM, USAID

Africa Nazarene University signs articulation agreements with NTCCA and NBC-EA NAIROBI, Kenya (NCN) — On July 2, Leah Marangu, vice chancellor of Africa Nazarene University (ANU), announced the ANU Senate`s approval of articulation agreements with Nazarene Theological College of Central Africa (NTCCA) and Nazarene Bible College of East Africa (NBC-EA) as specified in the application documents presented to the Senate without reservation or pre-condition. Marangu said the agreements “…provide more evidence of ANU’s commitment to the Africa Region and mark a new level of partnership with these two additional schools. We would encourage other schools to seek articulation so that together we may work to further God’s Kingdom.”
